
As I've said before, one of the reasons I love Brooklyn is that parts of it are in the 1950s. There's a mailbox near the school where I work and Thursday morning, I saw from afar that there was a note taped to it. I figured it would be a notice that they were going to remove the box and here's where you can go to find the next nearest one, but when I go there, this is what it said.
It was 8:30 and the pickup is at 9, so I was hopeful "dear postal worker" (cut off in the picture) found and stamped the summons. Especially since the person left twice the postage required...and one for your trouble, my good fellow!
