Here's my sister, and beyond, putting on the pink tie-dyed shirt, a gentleman who works as the titular character in Coney Island's "Shoot the Freak" attraction. For $10, we got 15 paint pellets each. It was all part of the world-wide ongoing celebration of my birthday. We also rode the most molar-jarring ride of all time, the Cyclone (which opens every year, despite an announcement each fall that it's kaput and will be torn down). Not only was I screaming, I was screaming things like, "this was built before liability laws!" But you know what? We were both crying with laughter when we got off. Then it was a walk on the beach/boardwalk, a look at flounder fishermen on the pier, and a Nathan's hot dog. Oh, and Laurie bought a donut at Dunkin' and the clerk said, "Only one? Here, I'm going to give you a freebie for your mom."
