If you know me at all, you know where I stand on people falling down as a plot device in movies. So imagine my despair at the trailers for the new Renee Zellwegger movie, "New in Town" where she falls, backwards, no less, off a porch. So I got a big charge out of graffiti on a subway poster for the movie, "Everyone else is wearing a coat, she thinks she is all that". Yeah, that too!

The Food Bank lost my paperwork for being a tax assistant and now they're "desperate" (hmm, are those two facts related?) so I start in the downtown Brooklyn office next week. If you're looking for volunteer tax help, don't bother with foodbanknyc.com, I couldn't find the address or office hours on their own website. Hmmm, related fact #3?
